v1.58: Fixes Latest

• Send feedback, Install app and other pop-ups now open on top of the Settings and account pages instead of hiding behind them.

v1.57: Sync notes and tasks

• Sign in and turn on Sync notes & tasks in Settings to see your notes, to-do lists, typing results, Pomodoro log and saved colours on every device.
• Changes made on two devices are merged, so nothing is lost.
• Sync is off until you turn it on, and you can delete the synced copy at any time.

v1.56: Settings

• A new Settings tab in the bottom bar, in place of Contact.
• Choose Light, Dark or Auto theme, a bigger text size, less motion, your number format and timer sounds.
• Back up your notes, to-dos and saved colours to a file and restore them on any device.
• Help, Contact, About, What's new and the legal pages are all in one place.

v1.55: Cleaner tool pages

• The close button now sits in the top-right corner of every tool.
• Next to the tool name there is just a star and a ⋯ menu with Add to home screen, light or dark mode, Share and Feedback.
• Smaller, tidier buttons across all tools.

v1.54: Typing, character limits and colour picker

• Typing Speed Test: a 2-minute mode, your best for each mode, a progress chart and the keys you miss most.
• Character Limit Checker: 18 limits including Threads, WhatsApp, Telegram, Pinterest and Google Business, with over-limit text highlighted and Trim to fit.
• Color Picker from Image: a magnifier under your finger for exact picks, and a saved palette you can copy as CSS or download as a PNG.

v1.53: Better timers

• Countdown, Stopwatch and Pomodoro keep running if you refresh or close the tab.
• Full screen view, keep-the-screen-on, and the time left in the browser tab.
• An alarm that rings until you tap Stop, timer labels, and a task name for each Pomodoro session.
• Stopwatch laps can be downloaded as a spreadsheet, and keyboard shortcuts work on computers.

v1.52: Better Notes and To-Do

• Quick Notes: colourful note cards, pins, tags, search, and checklists you tick inside a note, plus headings, bold and bullets.
• To-Do List: lists like Home, Work and Study, due dates, tasks that repeat every day, priority flags and a progress ring for today.
• Swipe a task to finish or delete it, with Undo for five seconds.

v1.51: Account pages

• Your favourites and recent tools show each tool's own icon and colour.
• A shorter menu: password, log out and delete are now on your account page, and the menu scrolls on its own on small screens.
• New Sign in and Create account pages, with a password strength meter.
• A new My account page with your favourite tools, recently used tools and settings.
• Change your password or delete your account right from your account page.

v1.50: Follow us

• Find Quick Work Studio on Instagram, LinkedIn and X, at the bottom of every page and in the menu.
• The menu now closes when you tap outside it or scroll the page.

v1.49: New search

• On phones, tapping search opens a full search screen with your recent tools, popular searches and categories.
• Smarter results that understand everyday words, like "photo 50 kb" or "loan".
• Voice search in browsers that support it.
• Can't find a tool? Request it in a few taps, and we build the most requested ones first.

v1.48: Golden favourites

• A new favourite star in every tool. It glows gold with a little sparkle when you save a tool.

v1.47: Glass search bar

• A new frosted-glass search bar with a glowing border.
• The search hint now types out example searches, like "EMI calculator" or "compress photo to 50 KB", to show what you can find.

v1.46: Cleaner homepage

• Smaller, colourful category cards so the tools appear sooner as you scroll.
• Removed the line under the search box for a cleaner top section.

v1.45: New footer and sitemap

• A cleaner footer with Explore and Legal columns and an icon for every link, and a full copyright notice that updates its year automatically.
• A new Sitemap page listing every tool, guide and page on the site.

v1.44: Cookie Policy

• A new Cookie Policy page listing every cookie and local storage item the site uses, what each does, how long it lasts and how to control it. Linked from the footer and the Privacy Policy.

v1.43: Clearer tool buttons

• A new "Add to home" button in each tool, in that tool's colour.
• Feedback moved to a "Feedback on this tool" button at the end of every tool.

v1.42: Add any tool to your home screen

• Every tool has a new home-screen button. Add just the tools you use most, each with its own icon, and open them with one tap.

v1.41: Full site check

• Tested every page and all 96 tools on phone and desktop, in light and dark mode.
• Fixed: option buttons in the Username Generator no longer run off narrow phone screens.
• Fixed: long codes in examples (like Base64) now wrap instead of making the page scroll sideways.

v1.40: Search tidy-up

• Stopped Google from mistaking bits of code for page links, and kept search engines out of private account pages.

v1.39: Footer tidy-up

• A cleaner footer with just the copyright.

v1.38: Approved on SaaSHub

• Quick Work Studio is now listed and approved on SaaSHub. The badge sits in the footer of every page.

v1.37: Smoother bar and new converters

• The bottom bar now has Favorites instead of About, with a highlight that slides to the tab you tap.
• All 17 unit converters redesigned: one clear From and To card, full unit names, a spinning swap button and a tidy grid of every unit.
• Light mode: clearer secondary buttons, steppers and dice.
• Cleaner writing across the site, without long dashes.

v1.36: Bottom bar, more FAQs and fixes

• An app-style bottom bar on phones with Home, Tools, Guides, About and Contact, on every page and inside every tool.
• Every tool now answers 10 to 12 common questions, with a cleaner question list.
• Better-looking feature ticks in "What you can do".
• Fixed: the Age and Date Difference calculators could show negative days for some month-end dates.
• Fixed: 3.6 km/h now converts to exactly 1 m/s, and Pomodoro counts use your local date.

v1.35: Tools on desktop

• On computers and in desktop mode, each tool now sits beside a pinned "How this works" panel instead of stretching across the screen.
• About, FAQ, guides and related tools are laid out in columns, so pages are much shorter.

v1.34: Desktop mode on phones

• The full desktop layout, including the "Popular right now" panel, now also shows in your phone browser's Desktop site mode and on smaller laptops.

v1.33: Version numbers

• The site now shows its version number in the footer and menu.
• New "What's new" page listing every update.

v1.32: Header and light-mode fixes

• The full "Quick Work Studio" name fits on small phones again.
• The theme switch animation now spreads out from the moon/sun button on every phone.
• Menu button always sits in the top-right corner.
• A light-mode version of the logo with a deep indigo wrench, so it stays clear on white.

v1.31: Light mode and desktop layout

• Light and dark mode with an animated switch. Your choice is remembered.
• Desktop: links in the header, a "Popular right now" panel, 3-column layouts and tools in a comfortable centred column.

v1.30: Install as an app

• Add Quick Work Studio to your home screen from the menu, or from the banner on your second visit.
• Opens full screen like an app, with shortcuts to popular tools.
• Pages you have opened keep working offline.

v1.29: Better "About this tool"

• Every tool now lists what you can do with it, with "Good to know" tips in numbered cards.
• Hand-picked related tools instead of random ones.

v1.27–1.28: Feedback and tool bar

• A new feedback form: choose the type, pick the tool, rate it and add your email if you want a reply.
• A feedback button inside every tool.
• The logo at the top of every tool takes you back home.

v1.25–1.26: New logo

• A new Quick Work Studio logo across the site, the browser tab and the home-screen icon.

v1.24: One purple theme

• The whole site uses one purple, with no pink glow.
• "Why Quick Work Studio" cards now link to the matching tools, guides and pages.

v1.23: Easier to browse

• A full list of all 96 tools, grouped by category, at the bottom of the homepage.

v1.20–1.22: Icons and polish

• Every tool has its own icon and colour.
• Coloured illustrations for every guide.
• Drawn icons for the feature cards.

v1.12–1.19: Redesigned tools

• All 96 tools rebuilt with sliders, charts, live results and copy buttons.
• Examples, explanations and FAQs rewritten to match the new designs.
