Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Quick Work Studio (www.quickworkstudio.com) uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, such as whether you are signed in. Websites can also use local storage, which works in a similar way but stays on your device and is never sent to a server automatically.
2. Our approach
Every tool on Quick Work Studio runs in your browser. What you type, calculate or upload into a tool is not sent to us. We keep our own cookies to a minimum: we only set one, and only if you sign in. The other cookies on the Site come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense.
3. Essential cookies
These are needed for a feature you asked for. They cannot be switched off on the Site, but you never need them to use a tool.
qws_session4. Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools and pages are useful. The reports we see are in aggregate and do not identify you.
_ga_ga_<ID>You can stop Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
5. Advertising cookies
Ads keep every tool free. We use Google AdSense, and Google and its partners may set cookies to:
- show ads and limit how often you see the same one;
- measure how ads perform and prevent fraud;
- where allowed, show ads based on your interests and your visits to this and other websites.
Common examples include __gads, __gpi, IDE and NID. The exact names and durations are decided by Google and can change; see how Google uses cookies and how Google uses cookies in advertising.
You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info and, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu. You will still see ads, but they will be less related to your interests.
6. Local storage on your device
Some features save small pieces of data in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can delete it any time.
qws_themewb_guest_favoriteswb_notes, qx_noteswb_todoswb_pomo_*qx_typing_bestqws_visits, qws_install_snoozeIf you install the Site to your home screen, your browser also keeps a copy of pages you have opened so they work offline. Clearing the site's data removes it.
7. Consent
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google lets you choose whether to allow personalised advertising before those cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the link the message provides. In other regions, by using the Site you agree to the use of cookies as described here, and you can control them as explained below.
8. How to control cookies
- Chrome (Android and desktop): Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies, or Site settings → quickworkstudio.com → Delete data.
- Safari (iPhone and Mac): Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data, or Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking cookies will not stop any tool from working. You will not be able to stay signed in, and favourites, notes and theme choices are lost if you clear local storage.
9. Changes to this policy
If we add or remove cookies, we will update this page and the date at the top.
