Quick Work Studio makes free tools and guides for everyday tasks: money sums, documents, study and work. People use them for things that matter, like an EMI before a loan, a photo size for an exam form or the tax on a salary. This page explains how we make sure they're right, and what to do if you find something that isn't.
Who we are
Quick Work Studio is an independent project based in India, started in 2026. We design, build, write and test the tools and guides ourselves. We aren't owned by, paid by or connected to any bank, lender, government body or tool maker, and nobody pays us to recommend a product or to rank a tool higher. You can reach us at qws@quickworkstudio.com or through the feedback form in the menu.
How we build and test tools
- Standard formulas. Calculators use published, standard formulas: the reducing-balance EMI formula banks use, quarterly compounding for FDs and RDs, the income tax slabs in the current Finance Act, the 15 ÷ 26 gratuity formula, and so on. Where experts disagree, such as BMI ranges for Indian adults, the tool says which version it uses.
- Worked examples are calculated, not typed. Every number in a tool's examples and in our guides is worked out with the same formula the tool uses.
- Automated checks. Before every release, more than 100 automated tests run against the whole site: they check that sample sums give the right answers, that every tool opens and works on phones and computers, and that every page loads without errors or broken links.
- Your files stay with you. Image, PDF and text tools run in your browser, and we design them so your files don't need to be uploaded. AI tools are the exception, and say so on every screen.
How we write and check guides
- Official sources first. Rules and rates, such as tax slabs, PF and PPF rates, deposit insurance or exam notices, are checked against the official source: the Income Tax Department, EPFO, RBI, the bank or the exam body. Money, tax and health guides list their sources at the end.
- Dated. Every guide shows when it was published and when it was last updated. When a rule changes, such as a new Budget or a new PPF rate, we update the guide and the matching tool together.
- Plain and specific. We write for someone doing the task right now: real numbers, Indian examples and the mistakes people commonly make, rather than general advice.
- Not professional advice. Guides explain how things work. For decisions about your own taxes, investments, health or legal matters, check with a qualified professional.
How we use AI
Like many small publishers, we use AI tools to help with research, drafting and writing code. Nothing goes on the site just because an AI wrote it: facts are checked against official sources, numbers are worked out with our own calculators, and every release passes the automated checks above. Separately, the site's AI tools (such as the AI Grammar Fixer) create text for you on request; those results are marked as made with AI, and you should read them before using them.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, a wrong figure or an out-of-date rule, please tell us through Send feedback in the menu or by email. We check every report. When we fix a factual error in a guide, we correct it and change the "Updated" date at the top; for bigger changes, the fix is also listed on our What's new page.
Advertising
The site is free to use. To cover its costs, it includes Google AdSense code so that ads served by Google can appear. Where ads appear, they are kept clearly separate from tools and guides, never placed to look like buttons or results, and advertisers have no say in what we write. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how advertising cookies work and how to control them.
