To-Do List

A simple to-do list that saves on your device: add tasks, tick them off, delete them and clear completed items in one tap.

About the To-Do List

The To-Do List keeps your tasks on this device and helps you see what matters today. Sort tasks into lists like Home, Work and Study or make your own, give them a due date or make them repeat every day, flag the important ones, and watch the progress ring fill up. Swipe a task right to finish it or left to delete it, with Undo if you slip. No account needed.

What you can do with the To-Do List

Plan your day with due dates

Use Today, Tomorrow, Next week or pick any date. Overdue tasks turn red and stay at the top until you finish or move them, so nothing quietly slips past. Tasks without a date sit below the dated ones.

Daily habits that reset themselves

Choose "Every day" for habits like drinking water, a walk or revising notes. Tick it today and it comes back unticked tomorrow, so the list works as a simple habit tracker without any setup.

Keeping the list useful

A long list is easy to ignore. Flag the two or three tasks that matter most today and do those first, and break big jobs into small steps: "email the landlord" is easier to start than "sort out the flat". If a task takes under two minutes, just do it now instead of writing it down.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my to-do list still be here tomorrow?

Yes, on the same device and browser, unless you clear your browsing data.

How do I make a task repeat every day?

Tap the calendar button next to the task box, choose "Every day", then add the task. It comes back unticked each new day.

I deleted a task by mistake. Can I get it back?

Yes, tap Undo in the bar that appears at the bottom. It stays for five seconds after you delete or finish a task.

How do I give a task a due date?

Before adding the task, tap the calendar button next to the task box and choose Today, Tomorrow, Next week, or Pick a date. The choice shows in green under the box. Then type the task and press Enter.

How do I make a task repeat every day?

Tap the calendar button, choose "Every day", then add the task. When you tick it, it stays ticked for today and comes back unticked the next day, which makes it work like a habit tracker.

What does the red flag do?

It marks a task as high priority. Flagged tasks show a red "High" label and appear above other tasks due on the same day.

What does the ring at the top count?

It counts tasks due today or overdue, plus daily tasks, and shows how many are done, like 2/5. If nothing is due today, it counts the whole list instead. When everything for today is finished it says "All done for today".

How do lists work?

Tap a list like Home, Work or Study above the task box. New tasks go into the list you are viewing, and only its tasks are shown. "All" shows every task with its list name. Tap "+ List" to make your own.

How do I delete a list?

Open the list and tap the small bin next to "+ List". The tool asks first, and deleting a list also deletes the tasks inside it.

Can I swipe tasks?

Yes. Swipe a task right to finish it or left to delete it. On a computer, tick the box to finish a task or click the × to delete it.

I finished or deleted a task by mistake. Can I undo it?

Yes. A bar with an Undo button appears at the bottom for five seconds after you finish, delete or clear tasks. Tap Undo to bring it back.

How do I edit a task?

Tap its text, change it and confirm. Clearing all the text deletes the task (and you can still undo).

What happens to overdue tasks?

They are marked "Overdue" in red and stay at the top of the list until you finish them, so they don't get lost below newer tasks.

How do I remove all finished tasks?

Tap "Clear completed". It clears finished tasks in the list you are viewing (daily tasks are kept, because they come back tomorrow). You can undo this too.

Will my tasks still be here tomorrow?

Yes, on the same device and browser, unless you clear your browsing data. The tasks you had before this update are all kept.
